  • WHATS GOING ON:
  • Avelo has placed an order for up to 100 Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft, supporting the airline’s strategy to deliver affordable and convenient travel across the United States. Aircraft deliveries are expected to begin in the first half of 2027. 
    Avelo will be the first U.S. carrier to operate Embraer’s largest and most advanced commercial aircraft,  modernizing Avelo’s fleet, complementing its Boeing 737NGs for the foreseeable future while improving cost efficiency and network reach.

Minimum Requirements

- Unrestricted ATP with airplane multi-engine class rating or Military R-ATP or, for highly exceptional candidates with non-military R-ATP applicability:

- Aviation Bachelor’s degree under 141 programs: 1000 total time or,

- Aviation Associate degree under 141 programs: 1250 total time or,

- 21 years old with all ATP requirements: 1500 total time and:

     - ATP-CTP course with ATP written complete

     - Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate

     - Valid FCC Radio Telephone Operator Permit

- Boeing experience or B737 type preferred

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid and current U.S. Passport (at least six months to expiration at beginning of training)

- Must have or be able to obtain a valid U.S. driver’s license

- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test

- Must be able to work a rotating schedule with variable hours of up to 16-hour duty days, including nighttime or overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home. Boeing experience or B737 type preferred

- Valid passport/documents with at least six (6) months of validity that grants you the ability to travel in and out of the USA and all cities/countries served by Avelo Airlines now and in the future.  Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule with variable hours of up to 16-hour duty days, including nighttime or overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home. Boeing experience or B737 type preferred

Any hours over 75 or flown on days off pays 125% of hourly pay
